Michael Stiggers: Broadway actor, singer, dancer
Michael Stiggers Jr. is a 2009 Columbus State University Theatre Education graduate. After graduating, Michael began his professional journey in the Atlanta theater scene, working and growing with some of the city's best talent in regional productions including Born for This: The Bebe Winans Story (Alliance Theatre), Rent (Actor’s Express) and Les Miserables (Aurora Theatre). He now resides in New York City, where in 2017 he made his Broadway debut in the Tony Award-winning Beautiful: The Carole King Musical. Most recently in one of the biggest Broadway shows of all time, Disney's The Lion King, he performed eight nights a week with the ensemble in addition to understudying the lead role of Simba. Michael is also a voiceover artist with national campaigns and projects for Adidas, Uber, and Nickelodeon Network.

Sponsored by KAR Global, the Center’s KAR Front Seat program invites small groups of students with interests in the performing arts to talk with seasoned performers and production professionals about the influences and experiences that brought them where they are today.
High school or college students interested in the performing arts may apply to be part of the conversation by submitting a question they would like to ask during the event. Please also include student name, grade level, and name of school currently attending, to Outreach@TheCenterPresents.org. Questions should be submitted by September 16. Ten students will be selected to interact with the Performing arts professional.
