Reports to: Director of Marketing
Summary/Objective
The Center for the Performing Arts is seeking a Marketing Associate to support the activities of the Marketing & Communications department through content creation and implementation in traditional and digital communications.

Essential Functions

- Manage email communications calendar and implement campaigns via WordFly; assist with developing promotions and curating content for email.
- Manage patron email lists with a focus on patron privacy and data integrity; maintain ongoing automated email campaigns.
- Manage event web pages and maintain content on Center’s website via Umbraco CMS.
- Support departmental goals through data reporting.
- Provide catch-all support including coordination of presale and on-sale rollouts with Patron Services and Development departments, maintenance of staff accounts in database, creation of marketing appeals and sources in database, etc.
- Work with staff committee of Tessitura/TNEW users to implement database projects and document processes.
- Assist with curating additional content for web and social media as needed; collaborate with department on sales initiatives and promotions in traditional and digital media.
- Represent the Center at campus events and local community functions.

Required Education and Experience
- Level of education, minimum – High School Diploma
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Digital marketing communications
- Computer literacy and efficiency
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate degree or above, or equivalent work experience
- Experience in Tessitura/TNEW, WordFly, Web CMS, Google Analytics, Photoshop, InDesign
- Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, SQL
- Experience with nonprofit organization

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
This role operates in a professional office environment and routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands, and reach with hands and arms. May lift up to 25 lb. on occasion/regularly.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time hourly position with benefits. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some schedule flexibility is required as occasional evening and weekend work is necessary.

No travel is required for this position but may be optional.
