About the Public Masterclass:
The Great American Songbook Foundation’s annual Songbook Academy® is the only youth intensive dedicated to our nation’s timeless popular music, most notably the jazz, pop, Broadway and Hollywood standards known as the Great American Songbook. Each year, 40 top high school vocalists are selected from hundreds of applicants to experience a rigorous week of workshops, masterclasses and performances led by Broadway performers and other arts and entertainment professionals.
In this free masterclass open to the public, Founder Michael Feinstein will be joined by Tony-nominated actress Laura Osnes as they critique the performances of ten randomly selected finalists of the 2019 Academy.

LAURA OSNES makes her film debut in the upcoming Hallmark Channel original movie In The Key Of Love this June. She was last seen on Broadway starring in the Tony Award winning Broadway musical Bandstand (Drama Desk, Drama League nominations), which was filmed and released in movie theaters nationwide via Fathom Events. In addition to touring the country with her popular concert series Broadway Princess Party, her many concerts and cabarets include performing with Michael Feinstein, the New York Philharmonic, The New York Pops, The Mormon Tabernacle Choir, The Boston Pops, The San Francisco Symphony, The National Symphony Orchestra, as well as appearing in such venues as Carnegie Hall, The Café Carlyle, Lincoln Center, The Smith Center in Las Vegas, and MN Orchestra Hall.
