Known for such timeless hits as “Chances Are,” "Misty” and “It's Not for Me to Say,” Johnny Mathis is one of the top-selling singers of all time, with dozens of gold and platinum albums. The longest-running artist in Columbia Records history, he has earned five Grammy nominations as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award.
Mathis last visited the Center in 2014, when the Great American Songbook Foundation inducted him into its Songbook Hall of Fame. In 2017, he released his 78th album, Johnny Mathis Sings the Great New American Songbook, interpreting hits by Adele, Bruno Mars, Josh Groban and other contemporary artists.
