The Siberian State Symphony Orchestra dates to 1977 but won greater acclaim touring internationally after the collapse of the Soviet Union. In 1993, by decree of the Russian Ministry of Culture, the ensemble was awarded the title of State Orchestra. Under Artistic Director Vladimir Lande, SSSO has launched new recording collaborations and made its televised concerts available for online streaming.
