The Masterworks Series continues November 9, 2019 with Hope of Romance and Adventure. This concert features wistful, imaginative and poignant pieces by beloved composers Verdi, Ravel, and Schumann. The Carmel Symphony Orchestra welcomes Philippe Quint, internationally renowned violinist, to perform rare compositions by silent movie icon Charlie Chaplin. Quint, known for his remarkable lyricism and virtuosity, has performed with orchestras around the world, including New York City’s Carnegie Hall. Join Maestro Janna Hymes and the musicians of the CSO for this exciting evening.
