With his NYC roots and his Indiana and Chicago musical upbringing, Tad Robinson has gained attention with his 10 Blues Music Award nominations and his recordings for Severn Records as well as earlier work on the Delmark and Rounder labels. With harmonica chops influenced by Sonny Boy Williamson and Junior Parker and a vocal style inspired by Otis Redding and Al Green, he tours widely and has performed at major international blues festivals. His band features top Indianapolis musicians Paul Holdman on guitar/vocals, Kevin Anker on Hammond organ and Brian Yarde on drums.
