CARMEL, Ind. – Singer-songwriter Matteo Bocelli will visit the Center for the Performing Arts in December on his first solo tour supporting his debut solo album.

Bocelli has been known primarily for collaborations with his father, renowned tenor Andrea Bocelli, including their joint appearance at this year’s Academy Awards and the stirring 2018 duet “Fall on Me,” which has amassed over 400 million streams worldwide. The 25-year-old artist’s new album, Matteo, showcases his strong but vulnerable vocal style, as well as his songwriting on tracks including the lead single, “For You.” The album also includes the sweeping ballad “Chasing Stars,” written for the project by Bocelli’s pop hero Ed Sheeran, and the disco-tinged “Fasi,” which he sings in Italian. He will perform with a backing combo and string section.

Matteo Bocelli: A Night with Matteo is set for 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at the Palladium, 1 Carter Green, Carmel. Tickets starting at $45 go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, June 14, at TheCenterPresents.org, by phone at (317) 843-3800, or in person at the Palladium’s Fifth Third Bank Box Office. The concert is part of the 2024-2025 Center Presents Series, presented in partnership with Allied Solutions.
