Transportation Grant Application
The Center for the Performing Arts’ Transportation Grant Program provides funding for public, private, parochial or homeschool educators in Central Indiana to bring their students to educational programs and performances at the Center. The grant may only be applied toward transportation associated with Center Presents shows and programs.
The grant program supports opportunities for students to be inspired by and learn more about the arts by eliminating the barrier of transportation costs.
School groups may apply for grants up to $250 per bus. The maximum grant per school/per event is $600. Reimbursement will be made after the field trip has occurred and will be based on actual expenses submitted.
Homeschool organizations must have a minimum of 15 students, traveling in the same vehicle, in order to apply for transportation-related funds.
School groups must make a field trip reservation with the Center prior to seeking a Transportation Grant. The school is responsible for providing the vehicles, drivers and chaperones.
NOTE: Each Transportation Grant application will be reviewed by Center staff. If your application is approved, you will receive an email with additional instructions on how to complete the request for funds once the field trip has occurred. Reimbursement will be based on actual expenses. Please be prepared to submit a W-9 form when you submit receipts for actual costs.
