Pop genius Brian Wilson, blues legend Buddy Guy, jazz guitar whiz Pat Metheny, country diva Kellie Pickler, folk-rockers Graham Nash and the Indigo Girls, the Russian National Orchestra and TV/stage star Jane Lynch are among the highlights of the upcoming 2018-19 Center Presents Season sponsored by Allied Solutions at the Center for the Performing Arts.

Brian WilsonThe Center’s eighth full season also includes emerging artists making their first central Indiana appearances, such as Canadian singer-songwriter Royal Wood and buzzworthy New York City jazz singer Veronica Swift.

President/CEO Jeffrey C. McDermott said the just-concluded 2017-18 Season was one of the Center’s most successful so far, with 14 sold-out performances at the Palladium and first-time visitors accounting for 37 percent of total attendance. The upcoming season raises the bar higher, he said.

“We’ve gathered a lot of feedback from our patron surveys and conversations at the concerts, and I think this season represents our best effort yet at appealing to that wide range of tastes,” McDermott said. “At the same time, we think it’s important to provide opportunities for up-and-coming artists who really bring something new to our audiences.”
