Partnership puts spotlight on women's health

The partnership between Community Health Network and the Center for the Performing Arts helps inform the public about health issues facing women and the importance of regular exams and screenings.

During the 2019-2020 Season, the Center for the Performing Arts is partnering with Community Health Network to raise awareness about key issues involving women's health through all stages of life.

 

Community Health Network has been sponsoring Center Presents performances this season that feature powerhouse women, including Trisha Yearwood, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Shawn Colvin and the upcoming Feb. 29 presentation of 4 Girls 4: Broadway's Leading Ladies in Concert, featuring Andrea McArdle, Maureen McGovern, Donna McKechnie and Faith Prince.

 

Dr. Indy Lane, a Community Health Network OB/GYN, visited the Palladium recently to record two public service announcements with Center President/CEO Jeff McDermott, one discussing women's health in general and another stressing the importance of annual mammography. Click below to watch:
