The Jan. 23 Palladium performance by Poland’s NFM Wroclaw Philharmonic was previewed in the Current newspapers by writer Mark Ambrogi’s interview with music director Giancarlo Guerrero, and glowingly reviewed afterward by longtime Indianapolis music critic Jay Harvey in his Upstage blog. Harvey called the concert “splendid” and compared Guerrero to Leonard Bernstein.

Fox59 anchor Lindy Thackston visited the Great American Songbook Foundation headquarters at the Palladium recently for a story about the Songbook Archives and Exhibit Gallery, the Songbook Academy national summer intensive for high school vocalists, the Perfect Harmony program for seniors facing dementia and other Foundation programs.
