New Works: An Arts Commission Project is an initiative by Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts to promote and sustain Indiana’s working artists and arts communities in an inclusive way by supporting the creation of new works in performing and visual arts.
In celebrating artists’ voices here in Indiana, we promote more diverse, connected and thriving communities. The core theme of the new works must align with one or more of Allied Solutions Center’s Core Values: Integrity, Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration and Inclusion. We're thrilled to present the winners of the 2026 New Works commissions! Join us May 30 at the Tarkington for an evening of exciting new work from local artists, followed by a talkback discussion. Free tickets are now available for New Works: Premiere Performances.
Applications are currently closed for the 2026 New Works project. Applications for 2027 will open in Summer 2026.
