Dionne Warwick is a six-time Grammy-winning music legend who has charted more than 75 hit songs and sold over 100 million records. Discovered by songwriters Burt Bacharach and Hal David in 1961, she went on to record 18 consecutive Top 100 singles, including “Walk On By,” “I Say a Little Prayer,” “I’ll Never Fall in Love Again,” “Alfie,” “Heartbreaker,” “Déjà Vu” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose?” In 1985, she participated in recording “That’s What Friends Are For,” a global hit that generated support for AIDS research, as well as the all-star hunger charity single “We Are the World.” She was inducted into the Great American Songbook Hall of Fame in 2016, received the Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2019, and this year was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
