Singer, songwriter and musician Sadie Johnson began playing guitar at age 6 and touring at age 13 with her sister Samantha as the Sad Sam Blues Jam. She played guitar in the award-winning jazz ensembles at Bloomington High School North, graduating early to hit the road with the annual Ruf Records Blues Caravan in 2015. She remained active in music while studying at Marietta College and becoming a certified music therapist. In 2023, she released her debut solo album, Natural Distractions.
Live at the Center is a concert series featuring local and regional artists in genres from jazz and classical to soul and indie rock. Tickets are just $10, with free livestream access available during and after the show. Viewers anywhere can enjoy a front-row perspective on Indiana’s top talent, with multi-camera coverage livestreamed in HD video and stereo sound.
