New Works Project | Visual Arts Application

ALL APPLICATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY DEADLINE OF SEPTEMBER 13, 2024 AT 11:59PM.

 

Please ensure you have all information and attachments prepared before starting the application. You WILL NOT be able to save midway through. Applications need to be completed in one sitting. Review required fields before starting.

Applicant information
Provide a bio and/or experience. You may also attach a resume, narrative biography, or CV below.

Artistic Vision

Upload a written statement addressing the following topics in no more than three pages. (.pdf, .doc, .docx and .xls filetypes accepted)

  1. Begin with a brief artistic statement that describes your existing creative work, the media you identify your work with, and your process.
  2. Share the concept for your commission and how it addresses the performing arts, the Center’s mission (to engage and inspire the Indiana community with enriching arts and education experiences) and Core Values (Integrity, Excellence, Innovation, Collaboration and Inclusion).
  3. Identify all known or intended collaborators and additional artists, if any.
  4. Please address how the piece(s) fits the program requirements artistically, technically and spatially. Be specific about your ideas.
Proposed new work

Upload visual representations of the artwork you are interested in creating. This can include sketches, photographs, vision boards, illustrations, similar art examples, etc. Be specific. We want to have a good understanding of your vision. (.pdf, .doc, .jpg and .png filetypes accepted)  

Existing work
