Mac McAnally to perform Jan. 23

Mac McAnally has won the CMA Musician of the Year title a record-setting 10 times and has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame.


Buffett band veteran returning after sold-out debut

 

CARMEL, Ind. – Following a sold-out show earlier this year, singer-songwriter Mac McAnally will return to Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, Jan. 23.

 

The 8 p.m. performance at the Payne & Mencias Palladium is part of the Center Presents Season sponsored by Allied Solutions and the Printing Partners Encore Series. Tickets starting at $36 will go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 26, by phone at (317) 843-3800 or in person at the center’s Fifth Third Bank Box Office, 1 Carter Green, Carmel.

 

A longtime member of Jimmy Buffett’s Coral Reefer Band, McAnally has written dozens of hits for artists including Alabama, Kenny Chesney and Sawyer Brown and has recorded with such names as Toby Keith, Linda Ronstadt, George Strait and Dolly Parton. He has won the Country Music Association’s Musician of the Year title a record-setting 10 times and has been inducted into the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame, the Mississippi Musicians Hall of Fame and the Alabama Music Hall of Fame. His solo recording career began with the Top 40 single “It’s a Crazy World” and has grown to 14 album releases.
