Website Accessibility
The Center for the Performing Arts (hereafter, “Center”, “we”, “our”) is committed to inclusion as one of its Core Values. In pursuit of that value, and as part of our overall commitment to Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Accessibility (IDEA), it is the goal of the Center to maintain a welcoming, accessible and usable website for all of its patrons. Over the past few years, the Center has undertaken a thorough review of the overall user experience to identify and account for any accessibility issues or flaws.
To best serve all of our patrons, we have chosen the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 as our standard. The WCAG has three levels, and we have settled on Level AA as the appropriate level for both the Center and our patrons. For details, please see the reference guide How to Meet WCAG.
The Center has already implemented many improvements based on our review, but our efforts are ongoing. Technology and the Internet continue to evolve rapidly, and it still takes time to adapt with them. If you have questions about accessibility on the Center’s website or would like assistance in using it, please reach out to us by calling 317.843.3800 or e-mailing Info@TheCenterPresents.org. If there is a particular page or area that is causing difficulty for you, please be certain to specify that, and we will make all reasonable efforts to improve that experience for you.
