The center offers two ukulele classes for anyone looking to learn how to play or sharpen up their uke skills!
All you need for this class is a love of music and the desire to try something new! Ukuleles are easier to learn than other stringed instruments, and we’ll even provide a loaner ukulele! We’ll start with a few fundamentals of rhythm and strumming patterns then explore singing, strumming, picking, and chord melody while focusing on some very fun songs.
No experience necessary!
Intermediate Ukulele Class
Already have a bit of experience playing the Uke and want to take it to the next level? This class is for you! Beyond the Beginner will augment the basics and teach intermediate strumming patterns and picking. We’ll explore a little more challenging song selections.
Bring your own Uke or use one the Palladium’s loaners.
Classes recommended for ages 14 and up.
Ukuleles will be available to borrow for these classes. If you would like to bring your own, please make sure it is a soprano, concert, or tenor uke tuned gCEA.
*Special thanks to Sam Ash Music store for loaning each student a ukulele. Students will also enjoy a 15% discount if they choose to purchase their ukulele when the class has concluded.
