Peanut Butter & Jam

 

Designed for children ages 1-7, Peanut Butter & Jam sessions encourage young children to become engaged in the arts. Join us each month for these fun and informal concerts, 10:30-11:15 a.m. Saturdays. Tickets are only $10 per child, with two free adult admissions included per order – perfect for parents and grandparents!

Mars the Melody Maker

Interactive learning comes to life with Mars the Melody Maker. Let’s sing, dance and play along with live guitar music! Through fun songs and engaging games, kids can build confidence while learning about rhythm and creativity. Every child gets to feel like a rock star, making music an unforgettable adventure.


About the Performer

A Season 13 contestant on American Idol, Marrialle Sellars (MARS) is an active performer locally and nationally and has been a private music teacher for several years.

Grupo Bembé: Latin Rhythm, Melody, & Movement

October 11, 2025 | The Studio Theater

Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with Puerto Rican band Grupo Bembé as they take us on a journey across Latin America with musical styles including bomba, plena, salsa and bachata. The band’s music is a wonderful mix of lively rhythms, catchy melodies and meaningful lyrics that reflect the island's heritage and traditions. The performance will have young and old on their feet clapping and dancing to the lively beats and melodies!


About the Performers

Formed in 2007, Grupo Bembé performs many styles of Latin music including bomba (the most African-derived Puerto Rican musical expression), plena (Puerto Rican cultural music), salsa, bachata and cumbia. With members from countries including Puerto Rico, Venezuela, Panama, Mexico and the United States, the group’s mission is to promote Latin music, especially that of Puerto Rico, through musical performances, workshops and other activities.

Silly Safaris: Animals of the North Pole

Come and learn about animals that live in very cold climates. Kids can pet a variety of animals, including a real live reindeer from Santa's workshop, and learn the folklore behind some of our favorite holiday traditions.

Silly Safaris is Indiana’s leading provider of wildlife conservation education, providing over 3,000 inspiring live-animal shows every year throughout the United States. Its mission is to create positive human-animal interactions that inspire responsible pet ownership and wildlife conservation. A Silly Safaris live animal show is the perfect blend of fact and fun for all ages. Audience guests join each animal for activities that teach about the natural world.

Melchior Marionettes: Holiday Cabaret on Strings

Back by popular demand! Join us for a fast-paced, entertaining cabaret featuring handcrafted marionettes. Children and adults will delight in the hilarious antics of the characters and the skill of the puppeteers. Everyone will want to sing along with the holiday classics and other favorites.

 

About the Performers

The Melchior Marionettes perform a cabaret-style variety show using three generations of half- life-sized marionette (puppets on strings) creations. This multi-generational family troupe was founded by Erica Melchior in the early 1950s and continues to this day to entertain audiences in the Midwest and abroad.

About the Performer

Led by artist Okara Imani with Courtney Blayne McCrary, Sarah McCrary, Ke'ara Sanders and Lorenzo Davis, The Call is an Indy- based collective of dreamers and noise makers syncing vibrations to the tune of shared human experience. Playing original alternative R&B, neo-soul, and contemporary, lo-fi jazz-hop noise, they join forces to create a unique and organic bond with the audience.

Traveler’s Dream: Musical Journey to Early America

February 21, 2026 | The Studio Theater

Take a musical journey through American history with folk songs that kids have loved for generations. With rich voices, engaging personalities and a wide variety of folk instruments, Michael Lewis and Denise Wilson captivate listeners with Celtic jigs, lively voyageur songs and American folk favorites. Children will be encouraged to interact and sing along! 

About the Performers

Traveler’s Dream, featuring Michael Lewis and Denise Wilson, creates music that is rich in tradition but driven by innovation and creativity. With powerful voices and a wide variety of traditional and modern instruments, they have toured widely for over 20 years, sharing their music in settings as diverse as concert halls and music festivals, schools and colleges, French and Celtic cultural celebrations, and living history events.

Bobcat Opossum

Bobcat Opossum draws inspiration and repertoire from many genres of traditional music. Multi-instrumentalists Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin tell stories through music and invite the audience to participate. All ages can travel through time and experience the vibrant world of folk songs and dances!


About the Performers

Bobcat Opossum is Sean Hoffman and Ellen Coplin. They draw inspiration for original music and repertoire from traditional music genres including Irish, Americana, bluegrass, classical and old-time music. Delighting audiences from festival stages to hands-on workshops, Bobcat Opossum uses fiddle, cello, piano, guitar and harmony singing to tell stories that transcend time and place.

Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre

After a brief performance, the dancers of GHDT will lead the audience through an adventure of movement and music, exploring basic concepts of dance. This enriching and captivating program will energize and encourage artistic creativity in participants of all ages.


About the Performers

Gregory Hancock Dance Theatre is the resident professional dance company at Allied Solutions Center for the Performing Arts, combining modern dance, classical and contemporary ballet, theatre, and cultural dance forms to create a unique style of movement with an emphasis on theatrical storytelling. GHDT has created a large repertoire ranging from small pieces to full-length ballets that are rich in contrasts and appealing to a broad-based audience. GHDT is committed to creating dances dealing with relevant social, cultural, historical and spiritual themes.

Todd Williams Trio: All Aboard the Short Track Shuffle

All aboard! The train is leaving the station to explore what makes jazz swing. The Todd Williams Trio will explore everything you need to bop before you stop. Join us as we depart on the Short Track Shuffle.

 

About the Performer

Originally known for his saxophone and clarinet work with the Wynton Marsalis Quintet and Septet and the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra, Dr. Todd Williams has been honored with such positions as Assistant Professor at Queens College and Music Director of Times Square Church. He currently serves as an Assistant Professor of Music Education at Indiana Wesleyan University.
