As a pianist, educator and philanthropist, Lang Lang is a leading figure in classical music and one of the world’s most influential ambassadors for the arts in the 21st century. Heralded by the New York Times as “the hottest artist on the classical music planet,” the Chinese-born virtuoso has collaborated with the world’s top conductors and orchestras, been seen by billions of viewers at the Summer Olympics Opening Ceremony in Beijing, and performed at the Grammy Awards with Metallica, Pharrell Williams and Herbie Hancock. The program will feature works of Fauré, Schumann and Chopin.
