Free and open to the public! Grab your sheet music, family and friends and come sing onstage during Allied Solutions Center's annual World Voice Day celebration, as we transform the Payne & Mencias Palladium into an open-mic cabaret for one special evening.
Singers of all ages, along with their family and friends, are encouraged to attend this evening of music – informal, free and open to the public. An emcee, PA system and piano accompanist will provide support, and the nightclub-style setting will include a cash bar for anyone who needs a little liquid encouragement.
Doors open at 2:30 p.m. for participants to sign in. Performances run from 3 to 5 p.m. Participants may arrive at any time but will perform in order of signup.
Each singer may perform one song. Due to time constraints, participation is limited to the first 30 singers.
Note: Please bring sheet music for the accompanist. You may also choose to accompany yourself on guitar or another portable instrument, or you may bring recorded music on a mobile device. Songs must be no more than 3 minutes in length.
