Yefim Bronfman, Piano

One of the world’s most acclaimed and admired pianists, Yefim Bronfman is known for his commanding technique, power and exceptional lyrical gifts. Born in the Soviet Union, he immigrated to Israel in 1973 and studied in the United States at The Juilliard School, Marlboro School of Music and the Curtis Institute of Music. He is a recipient of the prestigious Avery Fisher Prize, the Jean Gimbel Lane prize in piano performance from Northwestern University and an honorary doctorate from the Manhattan School of Music. In the 2025-2026 season, he toured Asia and played special trio performances in Europe with Anne-Sophie Mutter and Pablo Ferrández.
