Bassist and bandleader Brandon Meeks has been a force in Indianapolis' music scene for nearly two decades, contributing to more than 1,000 recordings by various artists. He collaborates with a dynamic collective of regional musicians, infusing classic jazz sensibilities with a contemporary urban edge inspired by visionaries like Christian McBride and Madlib. The quintet includes Meeks on upright bass, Josh Strange on vibraphone, Brandon Douthitt on saxophone, Kendall Carter on piano and Greg Artry on drums.
